(16250) Delbo Main-belt Asteroid

Discovered on 26 April 2000 by LONEOS at Anderson Mesa.

Marco Delbó (b. 1972) has contributed significantly to knowledge of the physical properties of near-Earth asteroids by means of thermal-infrared observations and modeling. He has derived an estimate of the thermal inertia of near-Earth asteroids, which is vital for reliable calculations of orbital drift due to the Yarkovsky effect.Naming citation (WGSBN Bull. 5, #28, 6), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
