(257425) Davykirkpatrick Main-belt Asteroid
Discovered on 4 May 2010 by WISE at WISE.
J. Davy Kirkpatrick (b. 1964) is an American astronomer at IPAC, Caltech. His research focuses on the discovery and characterization of low-mass stars, brown dwarfs and free-floating planets. He is a member of the 2MASS, WISE, NEOWISE, and NEO Surveyor teams, and used data from these surveys to help establish the L-, T-, and Y-dwarf spectral classes.Naming citation (WGSBN Bull. 6, #15, 12), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
