(6762) Cyrenagoodrich Main-belt Asteroid
Discovered on 2 March 1981 by S. J. Bus at Siding Spring.
Cyrena A. Goodrich (b. 1955) is a professor at Kingsborough Community College in New York. She is the leading expert on the formation of ureilites, studying these meteorites as probes of the complex melting and reduction they experienced during minor-planet differentiation.Naming citation (20060809/MPCPages.arc), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
