(12376) Cochabamba Main-belt Asteroid
Discovered on 8 July 1994 by E. W. Elst at Caussols.
Cochabamba, a city in Bolivia, has been called the City of Eternal Spring due to its barely changing spring-like temperatures throughout the year. The area was already inhabited by indigenous groups for over a thousand years before the Spaniards arrived in 1542.Naming citation (MPC batch dated 2015-01-05), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
