Discovered on 28 April 1990 by R. H. McNaught at Siding Spring.

Agnes Mary Clerke (1842–1907) was an Irish astronomer, historian and writer. Her clear explanations of new developments in science, particularly astronomy, were widely read by both the public and working scientists alike.
