(7355) Bottke Main-belt Asteroid

Discovered on 25 April 1995 by Spacewatch at Kitt Peak.

Named in honor of William F. Bottke, Jr., known for his research on the collisional and dynamical evolution of minor planets. He has also contributed to the study of the origin and evolution of NEAs, in particular by analyzing the formation of doublet craters found on the terrestrial planets.Naming citation (19980808/MPCPages.arc), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
