(375176) Beziau Main-belt Asteroid
Discovered on 28 February 2008 by J.-C. Merlin at Nogales.
Born near Angers (Maine-et-Loire, France), Pierre Béziau (1861-1947) was a self-taught enthusiast of astronomy. In 1904, convinced that the orbital movements of the Earth were at the origin of climatic variations, he built an ingenious orrery which illustrated his ideas.Naming citation (MPC batch dated 2018-05-29), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
