(7935) Beppefenoglio Main-belt Asteroid

Discovered on 1 March 1990 by H. Debehogne at La Silla.

Beppe Fenoglio (1922-1963) was one of the greatest Italian writers of the twentieth century. A fighter for freedom and scholar of American literature, he wrote about post-WW2 Italy in memorable pages. His short life denied him the joy of success, which came from stories published after his death.Naming citation (MPC batch dated 2014-10-08), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
