(28964) Ashokverma Main-belt Asteroid

Discovered on 23 March 2001 by LONEOS at Anderson Mesa.

Ashok Kumar Verma (b. 1984) is an Indian astrophysicist. He developed orbit determination software for asteroids and evaluated the prospects of quantifying the parameterized post-Newtonian parameter beta and solar J2 with radar and optical observations of near-Earth asteroids with large orbital precession rates.Naming citation (WGSBN Bull. 3, #9, 13), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
