(25301) Ambrofogar Main-belt Asteroid

Discovered on 7 December 1998 by Tombelli, M., Boattini, A. at San Marcello.

Explorer and adventurer Ambrogio Fogar (b. 1941) has undertaken many challenges. He attempted to reach the North Pole on foot with his dog and in 1974 completed a trip around the world alone in a 12-meter boat made only of wood. For many years he was the star of the TV show Jonathan Dimensione Avventura.Naming citation (20030806/MPCPages.arc), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
